Butyl tape
Butyl tape is a synthetic rubber-based extruded sealant strip, commonly used to seal between panels.

Applications
Butyl tape can be used as an alternative to joint sealant in these areas:

  • Roofing
  • HVAC
  • Automotive
  • Wind


Properties

  • Good adhesion to most surfaces
  • Compression: approx. 30%
  • Good weather and UV-resistance
